With the arrival of The Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 7, food processors & manufacturers now need to include Food Fraud Vulnerability Assessments in their Food Safety Management System.
The new requirements for a vulnerability assessment is designed to ensure all sites:
have assessed their raw materials & supply chains for their vulnerability to food fraud activities.
have appropriate, risk-based controls in place to minimise the risk of purchasing fraudulent or adulterated raw materials.
This one day interactive workshop looks at the requirements of issue 7 & beyond. The morning session will look at the requirements of the standard, while the afternoon session will go beyond to look at possible Retailer requirements.
Throughout the day we will be exploring the various risk assessment methods available to companies & will demystify the jargon that surrounds this subject.
